Por exemplo, muitos no setor veem o surgimento de smartphones abaixo de 100 d\u00f3lares como a \u00fanica solu\u00e7\u00e3o para o crescimento da receita proveniente de telefones celulares nos mercados emergentes. Nossa pesquisa mostra um quadro mais delicado: de um lado, consumidores dispostos a pagar pre\u00e7os mais altos pelos telefones que desejam e, de outro, uma alta demanda inexplorada por conte\u00fado \u00fatil nos telefones.<\/p>\n<p>Nosso foco na monetiza\u00e7\u00e3o mobile, e a quest\u00e3o central que a\u00ed se coloca \u00e9 relativa aos pagamentos. A penetra\u00e7\u00e3o dos cart\u00f5es de cr\u00e9dito e d\u00e9bito nos mercados emergentes \u00e9 baixa, criando um grande obst\u00e1culo ao modelo de loja de aplicativos que t\u00e3o rapidamente chegou a dominar os mercados maduros.<\/p>\n<p>Nossa pesquisa demonstra que os consumidores em mercados emergentes prefeririam em grande parte fazer pagamentos de com\u00e9rcio eletr\u00f4nico atrav\u00e9s de suas operadoras de telefonia celular, cuja infraestrutura suporta modelos de pr\u00e9-pagamento em dinheiro, bem como o faturamento p\u00f3s-pago.
