10 young developers will\u00a0kick start their career at Upstream<\/em><\/p>\n

Athens & London, 23 July 2019,\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0Leading mobile technology company, Upstream opens its doors to 10 young software and IT engineers through the launch of a pilot twelve-month paid internship program, called “Start at Upstream”.<\/p>\n

The \u201cStart at Upstream” program is intended for software and IT engineers who have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate studies in computer science, IT or other related disciplines and want to further their knowledge, acquire valuable work experience in their field of study while also enhancing their income.<\/p>\n

The program\u2019s aim is to support the integration of talented young software engineers, without prior work experience, into the job market. Also to enhance their professional skills in a fresh, multinational work environment having as mentors engineers who are considered the best in the field. Throughout the one-year program, young graduates will be trained and work as members of a world-class team, developing and producing cutting-edge software solutions and technologies targeted at millions of people around the world.<\/p>\n

Ms. Natalia Mila, Chief Technology Officer of Upstream, commented: <\/strong>\u201cEngineers are the vanguard of any tech company. Upstream\u2019s software engineers are always ahead of the bunch and are passionate about writing code that translates into innovative platforms and services. We want to share our know-how and the way we work and think, with young people entering the workforce. We believe that, by starting at Upstream and working with us, they will kick start their career in tech acquiring the right skill-set for any job in the field.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The \u201cStart at Upstream\u201d program for software development graduates will take place in Athens, Greece, where the company’s R & D center is located. After the end of the 12 months, Upstream will hire some of the internship participants in key positions within the company while plans to hold the program annually are in place. The goal is to support even more young software engineers every year at the start of their professional journey.<\/p>\n

Applications are through the link https:\/\/upstream.workable.com\/jobs\/1058283<\/a> where candidates can also review the criteria for joining, the areas of training during the 12-month internship, and the overall benefits. Questions about the program and the application process can be sent to graduate@upstreamsystems.com<\/a>. The deadline for submitting CVs is September 15th. The top 10 candidates selected after the evaluation process, will join the Upstream team in October.<\/p>\n
