In this role, Hobbs will use his broad experience and in-depth knowledge of the IT and telecoms sector to provide strategic leadership to the sales team, deepen Upstream\u2019s existing relationships with European mobile operators and introduce the company\u2019s cutting-edge solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Upstream has a successful track record of working with European mobile operators, such as Telef\u00f3nica, Telecom Italia, Vodafone and T-Mobile, on mobile marketing campaigns which increase customer loyalty and generate new revenues.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Upstream, Hobbs held the role of VP Global Accounts at Telmap International, the mobile mapping and navigation solutions provider. In this position, he was responsible for developing and implementing the company\u2019s European sales strategy \u2013 increasing subscriber volumes and revenues by more than 130 per cent.
