LONDON, 10 March 2014 – After successfully exhibiting for fifth consecutive year at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), Upstream, the mobile monetization powerhouse, says goodbye to Barcelona for 2014. Hundreds of attendees visited Upstream’s Stand, taking the opportunity to learn more about mobile monetization and discover Upstream’s innovative mobile solutions powered by MINT, Upstream’s technology platform.

MINT is connected to mobile operators in 40 countries and has delivered over 160,000 mobile campaigns in 23 languages. In total it has managed more than 30 billion mobile interactions, giving Upstream an unprecedented expertise in the competitive field of mobile monetization. The technology also underpins and empowers a great range of mobile products such as Marketing Promotions, More Value, Mobile Loyalty and Advanced Credit Service (ACS) – which have collectively engaged 600 million consumers over mobile and converted 65 million of them into paying customers.

Upstream’s sustained presence at MWC cements its position as a leading and global mobile player. The GSMA reported that more than 85,000 visitors from 201 countries attended this years’ Congress, setting another new record for the mobile industry’s premier event. MWC set additional records, with more than 1,800 exhibiting companies showcasing cutting-edge products and services across 98,000 net square metres of exhibition and hospitality space. More than 3,800 international media and industry analysts attended the event to report on the many significant industry announcements made at the Congress.
