Leading m-commerce platform to unveil the results of its latest emerging markets consumer survey
London, February 24th, 2017 – Upstream, a leading mobile commerce platform in high growth markets, will be attending Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year to connect with mobile network operators and digital service providers in order to assist them in capitalising on the $70 billion digital opportunity emerging markets offer. Visitors can find Upstream in Hall 5, stand 5B20.
Upstream expects to engage and meet with existing and prospective mobile operator clients and partners that focus on high growth regions. Company representatives will also be conducting meetings with key analysts and journalists who are tuned into the current and potential m-commerce opportunities in developing regions.
During the show, visitors to the Upstream stand will be able to gain a first-hand experience of Upstream’s enriched portfolio of relevant digital service offerings. Such offerings include mobile security and antivirus services, cloud storage solutions, celebrity apps, microinsurance services, as well as game portals, app stores and award-winning mobile marketing campaigns, all designed to reach emerging market consumers, regardless of their mobile device and internet connectivity capabilities.
Furthermore, Upstream will preview high-level findings around new consumer research undertaken with leading technology research and advisory firm Ovum, which uncovers consumer attitudes to digital services over mobile, across five high growth markets.
Kostas Kastanis, Head of Strategy, Upstream, commented: “We are excited to be at Mobile World Congress, which serves as a forum to connect with players in the mobile space, from mobile network operators to digital brands, who are looking to make an impact on consumers in emerging markets, and are tapping Upstream to capitalise on the enticing $70 billion digital opportunity.”
“The unique capabilities of our mobile commerce platform positions us to provide unparalleled value to mobile network operator groups in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and South-East Asia, by empowering them to open up new revenue streams, whilst also guarding the customer experience of their subscribers.”
